Roving Restorers

21.06.21  Roving Restorers returned to Gumnut Nature Refuge on Monday (21.06.21) to tackle glycine, corky passion vine and white moth vine that threaten to smother lomandra and young trees. We also found a vine full of African cucumber (also known as Horned Melon) which we've not seen before. Whilst this is an annual and edible, the birds seem to love it and so it could easily spread through the nature refuge where it has the potential to smother small native trees. We collected a bag full of the fruits and the vine is no more!
